Fat Head Pizza Crust (Keto-Friendly)

I don’t know about you, but one of my favorite foods to eat is PIZZA. I am very picky when it comes to pizza, it has to be thin crust well done, which is how I order it at our favorite Italian restaurant in town. There is only a few other places where that doesn’t matter because the way they make it is how I like it! Anyways, this recipe is a great take on pizza, though it is not a the real thing but does taste similar to it!

Ingredients:

1 ¾ cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

¾ cup almond flour

2 tbsp cream cheese

1 egg

pinch of Himalayan Salt

½ tsp Pizza Flavor God Seasoning (Italian seasoning if you don’t have Flavor God)

parchment paper (Target brand is the best)

any toppings you may like (i.e. pepperoni, sausage, olives, peppers, etc…)

Rao’s Marinara Sauce

Directions:

Preheat oven 425 degrees. In a microwaveable bowl add mozzarella cheese, almond flour, and cream cheese. Micro wave for 1 minute. Stir the mixture and then microwave for another 30 seconds. Add the  seasoning and salt and mix until blended. I add the egg at the end as the mixture is warm and I don’t want it to cook the egg. Once all the ingredients are incorporated, lay a piece of parchment paper on a baking sheet and add the dough. Then place another piece of parchment paper on top and use a rolling pin to roll out the dough. Once it is rolled out, make fork holes in the dough so it cooks evenly. Bake the dough for approximately 12-15 minutes (all ovens are different so you may have to adjust and you will need to watch the dough so it doesn’t burn). Once the dough is cooked, remove it from the oven and add tomato sauce, cheese (mozzarella or cheddar), and any toppings you make like. Add the pizza back to the oven and place on broil (high) so the cheese is melted and toppings are cooked, around 5 minutes or less. Once it is done, take it out of the oven and let cool for 2 minutes.
