I was making tacos for dinner one night and I know that my family loves Moe’s Southwest Grill Chipotle Ranch Dressing (My oldest daughter asked me to make this). Being that I am on the Ketogenic diet, most of the recipes online require buttermilk, which I was not willing to use. So this recipe was a good fit and my family loved it! If you like it hot, then add more chipotle peppers to the recipe!
Ingredients:
1 Chipotle pepper in a can with adobe sauce
3 tbsp fresh lime juice
1 cup mayonnaise
½ cup sour cream
¼ heaving whipping cream
2 tbsp parsley
½ tsp dill
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp basil
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Directions:
In a blender combine mayonnaise, sour cream, heavy whipping cream, parsley, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, black pepper, apple cider vinegar, lime, and chipotle pepper. I mixed it for a minute and checked it to make sure it was fully combined (it tasted yummy and my oldest daughter agreed!). You don’t want to mix it too much as it will turn watery. It is best to let the dressing sit in the refrigerator for a few hours, if not you can serve immediately.
