Bolognese Sauce (Keto Friendly)

I have been on the Ketogenic Diet for over a year now and was looking for something that was quick and easy and this is what I came up with, my own bolognese sauce…..The Flavor God Seasoning makes it taste like pizza without the crust!

Ingredients:

4 cups of Rao’s Marinara Sauce

½ cup Parmesan & Romano Grated Cheese

2 – 16 oz packages of Mild Ground Italian Sausage (I used mild, but normally I split one mild and one hot, but Walmart did not have it)

4 tbsps of Pizza Flavor God Seasoning

Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:

In a pan (needs to be deep enough to add the sauce) brown the Italian Sausage. Once the meat has browned, drain the excess fat (This needs to be done so the mixture is not watery). Add the sausage back to the pan then add Rao’s Marinara Sauce, Flavor God Seasoning, and salt & pepper to taste. Let it come to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes and serve.

Depending on what I have in the house, determines what this is served with. For my kids I serve this over pasta. Now if you are on the Ketogenic diet, it is best to be served over zoodles, spaghetti squash, or by itself. I also serve a salad with it too! Easy Peasy 🙂
